Simple Surrogacy understands the sacrifices you make in accepting the responsibility of creating a life for your intended parents. We understand how important it is to have an advocate working on your behalf to insure you a stress-free pregnancy and delivery. We will take care of you and work on your behalf throughout the pregnancy so you can concentrate on having the best pregnancy possible.
It is important that you are secure in knowing that you will be financially compensated through a trust account that is held by an authorized escrow officer, to assure that you will be paid accurately and on time. We will insure the most secure contract so that your rights are protected. We will negotiate up front the details of your agreement and be available to resolve any issues that may arise between you and your IP’s.
Simple Surrogacy works very carefully to ensure a good match with the Surrogate and the Intended Parents. We provide the Surrogate with their own independent attorney, experienced in representing Surrogates, to make sure the Surrogate’s interests are protected. We collect all funds from the Intended parents at the signing of the contract so that you can be assured on-time payment, and you will never have to worry if your next check will arrive on time. We also act as a resource between the Intended parents and Surrogates to solve any conflicts before they become problems. Our Surrogate Services Director is herself an experienced gestational and traditional Surrogate who understands the process completely, and is able to guide you and understand your experiences. Simple Surrogacy believes in making the Surrogate as comfortable as possible to insure a pregnancy that goes smoothly and that everyone will feel good about.
In order to be qualified to work with our agency as a Surrogate, you must:
Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
Be between the ages of 21-40 (Traditional Surrogates must be under 35)
Have given birth to a child of your own
Have had uncomplicated pregnancies and deliveries
Be height-weight proportionate (BMI must be under 33)
Have experienced a full-term pregnancy and delivery
Be in a stable living situation
Have the support of your spouse or partner (when applicable)
Not be on public assistance
Be able to pass a background check
Have read and understood the Surrogacy process, by clicking on the link to the left
Be willing to take medications via injection (when instructed by RE)
Not smoke or take illegal drugs, or be exposed to second hand smoke
Be willing to refrain from alcohol throughout the pregnancy
Not have any sexually transmitted diseases
Not have any psychiatric illness
Have reliable transportation to travel to Dr’s appointments and screening or matching appointments (at IP’s expense)
Not have had any tattoos or piercings within the past 12 months
Be able to provide contact information for past OBs or family doctors
Enjoy pregnancy and be motivated by the wish to help others create or add to their family
Once you contact us by phone or email expressing an interest in being matched by our agency, we will ask that you fill our our Profile and Application, available on our web site, or sent by mail. Once you have filled out our application, please return it to us with two current photographs, one of face and one full length. Traditional Surrogates should also submit a childhood photo. Once we have received your application, we will run a background check on you. Once we receive clear results, we will contact you to answer any further questions, and let you know we are ready to proceed with matching you.
