STEPHANIE SCOTT – EXECUTIVE PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Stephanie is responsible for the initial screening of all Intended Parents, Surrogates, and Egg Donors who apply with our program. She reviews all new applicant profiles, records, references, insurance policies, and ensures all applicant background investigations have been completed and cleared before acceptance into our program (investigation includes a search of both Federal and State criminal records, as well as a Residential History and Social Security Verification). She also ensures that the surrogates in our program have optimal medical coverage to cover the pregnancy and delivery and arranges for all parties to obtain a term life insurance policy. Stephanie orchestrates the matching between our Surrogates, Egg Donors, and Intended Parents based on their specific needs and desires. In addition to the acceptance and matching of new applicants, Stephanie also arranges the medical and psychological screening for the Intended Parents, Surrogates, and Egg Donors in our program.

KRISTEN HANSON – EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, FINANCE

Kristen Hanson oversees the financial aspects of Simple Surrogacy, as well as manages the escrow accounts of our  Surrogates, Egg Donors and Intended Parents. Kristen’s first priority is to make sure all of our client’s money is handled in the most responsible way, that our Surrogates never receive a late payment, and that our clients are assured that their money is well managed. Kristen is an experienced Egg Donor, and is very experienced with all aspects of surrogacy involving Egg Donors.

NATALIE JAMES - SENIOR SURROGATE SUPPORT COORDINATOR

Natalie is a proud mother of one and an experienced Gestational Surrogate who delivered twin boys through our program. She has been involved in a few publications regarding how surrogacy has helped the lives of others and completed many families. Natalie is experienced in the medical and legal process of surrogacy to better meet the needs of the Surrogates in our program.

Natalie is responsible for the ongoing support of the matched surrogates in our program. Natalie checks on each of her assigned surrogates regularly to answer any questions they may have, ensure they are aware of any appointments that have been scheduled on their behalf, and to offer them support and encouragement throughout their journey. Natalie reports back to our Executive Director of Coordination and our Senior Intended Parent Coordinator with frequent updates on the Surrogates' progress and promptly addresses any concerns they may have.

CARRI JACKSON - SENIOR INTENDED PARENT COORDINATOR

Carri has three years of experience supporting Surrogates, Egg Donors, and Intended Parents in their emotional journey through surrogacy and egg donation. Carri attended college for medical transcription and billing, and is experienced in the medical and insurance process of surrogacy to better meet the needs of the Intended Parents in our program.

Carri is responsible for the ongoing support of the Intended Parents in our program. She checks on the matched Intended Parents in our program regularly to answer any questions they may have, ensures they are aware of any appointments that have been scheduled on their behalf or their surrogates' behalf, arranges travel to and from out of state appointments, and is there to offer them support and encouragement during their journey. Carri reports back to our Executive Director of Coordination and our Senior Surrogate Support Coordinator with frequent updates on the Intended Parents' progress and promptly addresses any concerns they may have.

DOUGLAS DEVLIN J.D., CFP – ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Doug Devlin is the attorney most utilized by Simple Surrogacy. He has a private practice and assists Simple Surrogacy with the review of contracts on behalf of our Surrogates in many cases. Doug Devlin has been practicing law in the State of Texas for seven years. His field of practice is varied, concentrating on the areas of infertility law, business law, taxation, and trust and estate planning. Mr. Devlin has drafted and/or advised many Egg Donors and Surrogates’ contracts, and has aided them in the negotiation of their agreements in a variety of states.

Doug Devlin was raised in the Dallas Metroplex area in North Texas. Mr. Devlin received his BBA in Finance from the University Of Texas School Of Business (1997) and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University Of Texas School Of Law (2000), both institutions ranked in the Top Twenty nationally by U.S. News and World Report. Mr. Devlin speaks Spanish, French, and Italian and is available to assist clients in any of those languages.

Doug Devlin is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. Mr. Devlin is a Certified Financial Planner and is available to advise clients on a wide range of legal and financial matters including taxation, estate and family planning and financial planning. RICHARD HANSON Ph.D – ASSOCIATE PSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Hanson is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a forte and interest in providing psychological assessments, personal counseling and life coaching for potential Egg Donors, Surrogates, and intended parents. As needed, Dr. Hanson can perform psychological evaluations and MMPI's on all Surrogates and Intended Parents      

After graduating with his doctorate degree from the California School of Professional Psychology - Fresno Campus, Dr. Hanson has dedicated over twenty years of his professional career as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to working with families. In addition, He brings to the area of Assisted Reproduction Psychology, his own experience as a proud new parent through surrogacy.

Because of Dr. Hanson’s personal understanding of the expectations and the often urgent nature of the assessment process for those involved in being Egg Donors, Surrogates, or intended parents, his office will strive to accommodate any special needs in a highly timely manner. Psychological assessment or personal counseling services are always available to accommodate busy family and work schedules.

DEBORAH ARNETT – ASSOCIATE COUNSELOR

Mrs. Deborah Arnett holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, is licensed as a Professional Counselor by the State of Texas, is a resident of North Dallas, mother of two adopted children, and has been married 21 years.

Mrs. Arnett offers the Surrogates, Egg Donors and Intended Parents of Simple Surrogacy their initial counseling session before entering into surrogacy/egg donation agreements, counseling throughout the surrogacy and egg donation process, and postpartum counseling. Mrs. Arnett addresses the expectations of all parties entering into a surrogacy/ egg donation agreements. She strives to ensure that our surrogates, egg donors and Intended Parents are emotionally stable to proceed with the surrogacy/egg donation process.
