The Surrogacy process for Gay and Lesbian families is similar in many ways to the process for heterosexual families. To familiarize yourself with the Surrogacy and Egg Donation process, please review the information on our site. Once you have decided that surrogacy is the option you prefer to create your family, please contact Simple Surrogacy. One of our dedicated staff members will contact you for consultation. Getting Started When you retain Simple Surrogacy to guide you through the surrogacy process, you will fill out an Agreement For Services. We will then match you with a Surrogate/Egg Donor who fits your needs and approval. The Surrogates in our program are thoroughly screened, most have insurance, current physicals, and have a doctor's release for pregnancy. Intended Parent/s will review their Surrogate's criminal background check and all medical records. Process in Brief After choosing a Surrogate we arrange a phone conference for you so that you and your Surrogate may become better acquainted. When you have decided to move forward, we will set up a face-to-face meeting, where possible. If you and your Surrogate are a match, we will provide you with referrals to licensed reproduction attorney(s) and guide you through executing your legal contracts. Once the agreement is signed, all funds due to the Surrogate/Egg Donor are put into escrow. When all parties involved sign the contracts, you are able to move forward with clinics, doctors, and /or home inseminations. Simple Surrogacy will locate desirable clinics/hospitals/doctors to fit your specific needs. Once a physician deems the Surrogate pregnant (Congratulations!), we will process all funds due to the Surrogate under the contract agreement and send out a monthly itemized escrow statement to the Intended Parents to keep for their records.
