Simple Surrogacy is a full-service Surrogacy Agency based in Dallas, Texas. We were founded in 2002 to assist couples and individuals with the desire to achieve a family through third party assisted reproduction. We were founded on one simple principle: to provide our clients with the highest standard of care in the surrogacy industry at an affordable price. Creating families through Surrogacy and Egg Donation since 2002, our agency offers a fully rounded knowledge of the experience. Stephanie Scott is the Executive Program Director at Simple Surrogacy. Stephanie is responsible for the initial screening of all Intended Parents, Surrogates, and Egg Donors who apply with our program. She reviews all new applicant profiles, records, references, insurance policies, and ensures all applicant background investigations have been completed and cleared before matching within our program (investigation includes a search of both Federal and State criminal records, as well as a Residential History and Social Security Verification). She also ensures that the surrogates in our program have optimal medical coverage to cover the pregnancy and delivery and arranges for all parties to obtain a life insurance policy.
Stephanie orchestrates the matching between our Surrogates, Egg Donors, and Intended Parents based on their specific needs and desires. In addition to the acceptance and matching of new applicants, Stephanie also arranges the medical and psychological screening for the Intended Parents, Surrogates, and Egg Donors in our program.

Kristen Hanson is the Owner and Executive Director of Finance at Simple Surrogacy. Kristen oversees the financial aspects of Simple Surrogacy, as well as solely managing the escrow accounts of our clients.
Kristen’s legal responsibilities include determining state laws and required legal proceedings in the Surrogate’s and Intended Parents state of residency; locating separate legal counsel experienced in surrogacy law for Recipient Couple and Surrogate; review and assist in negotiating the surrogacy contract between Recipient Couple and Surrogate; assure both parties that contractual agreements are met by being a third party to contract; and overseeing all necessary legal filings and procedures (such as pre-birth orders and step parent adoptions) to establish parental rights for Intended Parents.
Kristen’s escrow responsibilities include opening of escrow; manage escrow account; monitor and authorize disbursements in accordance with your contract; reimburse expenses to Surrogate, including prescription medications and co-payments; and sending intended parents itemized monthly statements of the escrow activity.
Kristen’s first priority is to make sure all of our client’s money is handled in the most responsible way, that our Surrogates never receive a late payment, and that our clients are assured that their money is well managed.
Kristen is an experienced Egg Donor, and is very experienced with all aspects of surrogacy involving Egg Donation.
Michelle Magers – Medical and Support Coordinator

Michelle Magers
Michelle Magers is Medical Coordinator and Support Coordinator at Simple Surrogacy. She is a devoted wife, mother, and two-time surrogate who is very passionate about helping others experience the kind of wonderment that only parenthood has to offer. Michelle is an experienced gestational surrogate who carried twins for her first journey and is currently on her second journey for a wonderful set of Intended Fathers. Michelle is currently attending college part time to improve her current MA status to a Registered Nurse. She works directly with Dr. Robert Kaufmann at Fort Worth Fertility assisting Intended Parents, Surrogates, and Egg Donors on their journeys to achieving pregnancy. Michelle handles the scheduling of medical appointments for our Intended Parents, Surrogates and Donors. She assists in obtaining medical records for past pregnancies and deliveries, prior donation histories, and medical screening results. Michelle is also a Support Coordinator for our Surrogate Mothers and Egg Donors. She strives to ensure the women within our program have journeys they can look back on with fond memories.

Jennifer Scott – Senior Intended Parent Coordinator

Jennifer Scott
Jennifer is a Senior Intended Parent Support Coordinator at Simple Surrogacy. She is a married mother of 5 and an experienced Gestational Surrogate who carried boy/girl twins for one of our Intended Parents from Italy.
Jennifer has worked in the real estate industry for over 10 years. The experience of being a surrogate was so rewarding and changed her life so profoundly that she decided to make it her life’s work. The joy of a helping grow families through surrogacy and egg donation is something she decided she would like to pursue full time. Jennifer is a current student at Texas Wesleyan University. She will graduate in December 2013 with her Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies.
Jennifer is responsible for the ongoing support of the matched Intended Parents in our program. She checks on each of her Intended Parents regularly to answer any questions they have, ensure they are aware of how their Surrogate is progressing, and to offer them support and encouragement throughout their journey. Jennifer reports back to our Executive Program Director and our Senior Surrogate Support Coordinator with frequent updates on the Intended Parents’ journey and promptly addresses any questions or concerns they may have.
Jill Errera – Intended Parent Coordinator

Jill Errera
Jill is an Intended Parent Coordinator at Simple Surrogacy. She is an
active mother of one little girl and an experienced Gestational Surrogate
who has delivered two sets of twins and one singleton to both local and
international Intended Parents.
Jill has worked as an Intellectual Property Paralegal for 16 years.
Becoming a surrogate touched her life in such a positive way that she
decided to continue helping grow families through surrogacy even after her
time as a surrogate was over.
Jill is responsible for supporting Intended Parents once they have been
matched with a surrogate. She is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week
to offer support, answer questions, address concerns, offer encouragement
and share in the joys that come with the surrogacy process. Jill works
closely with the Executive Program Director to ensure that all concerns
are addressed promptly.
Melissa Johnson - Senior Surrogate Support Coordinator

Melissa is the Senior Surrogate Support Coordinator at Simple Surrogacy. She is an active married mother of 3 and an experienced Gestational Surrogate who carried a beautiful baby boy for one of our couples from Israel. Melissa is very passionate about her work and also about surrogacy. She feels that children are a blessing and that every parent deserves to have the happiness she has known from her own children. Melissa is currently working towards a degree in Psychology in which she hopes to complete with in the near future. She is a wonderful support to the surrogates in our program and cares very deeply about ensuring their journey is a pleasant as the one she experienced.
Melissa is responsible for the ongoing support of the matched surrogates in our program. She checks on each of her assigned surrogates regularly to answer any questions they may have, ensure they are aware of any appointments that have been scheduled on their behalf, and to offer them support and encouragement throughout their journey. Melissa reports back to our Executive Program Director and our Senior Intended Parent Coordinator with frequent updates on the Surrogates’ progress and promptly addresses any concerns they may have.

Darla Chayrez - West Coast Coordinator

Darla is the West Coast Senior Support Coordinator at Simple Surrogacy. Darla is married to her high school sweetheart and has three daughters and one son. Darla began her surrogacy journey in 2007 and has experience in egg donation, gestational surrogacy, and traditional surrogacy. Darla was a Gestational Surrogate for Intended Fathers from Ireland and delivered their beautiful baby girl in 2011.
Darla believes surrogacy is such a blessing and hopes surrogacy will become an option for more couples and individuals who have lost faith that children would ever be in their future. With the proper steps it is feasible.
After working within the same corporation for 12 years, Darla decided to become a full time mom and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Management. With many years in the private and public business sector, she will be a great asset to Simple Surrogacy supporting surrogates and Intended Parents during their journeys.
Kristina Gray – West Coast Surrogate Support Coordinator

Kristina is the West Coast Surrogate Support Coordinator at Simple Surrogacy. She is a married mother of one and an experienced Gestational Surrogate who carried girl/girl twins for one of our Intended Fathers from Texas.
Kristina is currently working towards a certificate to become a doula in Texas. Pregnancy means so much to her and she looks forward to being a part of the journeys of our surrogates and helping them experience the same amazing journey she experienced.
Kristina is responsible for the ongoing support of the matched Surrogates in our program. She checks on each of her Surrogates regularly to answer any questions they have and to offer them support and encouragement throughout their journey. Kristina reports back to our Executive Program Director and our Senior Intended Parent Support Coordinator with frequent updates on the Surrogates’ journey and promptly addresses any questions or concerns they may have.

Charity Platt - Surrogate Support Coordinator

Charity Platt
Charity is the Texas Surrogate Support Coordinator at Simple Surrogacy. She is a mother to 1 beautiful daughter and an experienced Gestational Surrogate who have birth in 2011 to a beautiful baby boy for one of our local couples. Charity is very passionate about surrogacy and loves to make people aware of it and talk with them about it. She feels that children are a blessing
and that every parent deserves to have the happiness she is experiencing from her own child. Charity currently works as a legal assistant in a law firm downtown and hopes to eventually do surrogacy and related issues full time. She is a great support to the surrogates in our program and cares very deeply about ensuring their journey is as pleasant as the one she is experiencing.
Charity is responsible for the ongoing support of the matched surrogates in our program. She checks on each of her assigned surrogates regularly to answer any questions they may have, ensure they are aware of any appointments that have been scheduled on their behalf, and to offer them support and encouragement throughout their journey. Lesa Hanson – Clinic Liaison

Lesa Hanson
Lesa Hanson is the Clinic Liaison at Simple Surrogacy and Simple Donations. She is a devoted wife, mother of two grown children, and Registered Nurse who is very passionate about helping others reach their dreams of parenthood. Lesa coordinates the scheduling process of Surrogates and Egg Donors at clinics, and assists Surrogates and Egg Donors with their management of screenings, appointments, and calendars. In her role as Clinic Liaison, Lesa works directly between the clinic staff who schedule the appointments and calendars for clinic cycles and the Surrogates and Donors, to ensure a smoother experience with the clinics for everyone involved. Lesa uses her expertise in the medical field as well as her skill at interpersonal communication to ensure the Surrogates and Donors within our program have positive clinical experiences as part of their journey.

Doug Devlin is the attorney most utilized by Simple Surrogacy. He has a private practice and assists Simple Surrogacy with the review of contracts on behalf of our Surrogates in many cases. Doug Devlin has been practicing law in the State of Texas for seven years. His field of practice is varied, concentrating on the areas of infertility law, business law, taxation, and trust and estate planning. Mr. Devlin has drafted and/or advised many Egg Donors and Surrogates’ contracts, and has aided them in the negotiation of their agreements in a variety of states.
Doug Devlin was raised in the Dallas Metroplex area in North Texas. Mr. Devlin received his BBA in Finance from the University Of Texas School Of Business (1997) and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University Of Texas School Of Law (2000), both institutions ranked in the Top Twenty nationally by U.S. News and World Report. Mr. Devlin speaks Spanish, French, and Italian and is available to assist clients in any of those languages.
Doug Devlin is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. Mr. Devlin is a Certified Financial Planner and is available to advise clients on a wide range of legal and financial matters including taxation as well estate, family, and financial planning.
Eitan Keret – International Intended Parent Psychologist

Eitan Keret
Eitan Keret is a licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Psychologist, fluent in both English and Hebrew, residing in Tel Aviv, Israel. Eitan provides psychological evaluations, assessments and counseling for our International Intended Parents.
Eitan got his BA in psychology from Hunter College New York City in 1993 and his MSSW from Columbia University New York City in 1996. He graduated from a four year program in Psychoanalysis Psychotherapy from the Post Graduate Center in New York City in 2001.
Eitan has a private practice in Tel Aviv, Israel and devotes his time to working with young adults, Gay and Lesbian individuals and couples, and Intended Parents pursuing surrogacy in the United States. Eitan and his partner are proud to be the parents of a baby boy born through our surrogacy and egg donation programs.
Timothy White, Ph.D, MA, LPC, NCC – Psychologist/Counselor

Timothy White
Timothy White is a Ph.D and Licensed Professional Counselor residing in Dallas, Texas who provides psychological evaluations, assessments and counseling for potential Egg Donors, Surrogates, and Intended Parents.
Tim has graduated with his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University-Commerce, and has dedicated most of the seven years of his career as a licensed clinician and evaluator to working with children and families. He has a professional interest in assisted reproduction issues and a personal interest as well; he and his partner are proud fathers to a baby boy born through our program.
Tim maintains flexible working hours in order to expedite the assessment process and accommodate the busy schedules of Egg Donors, Surrogates, and Intended Parents.
Blake Mitchell, Ph.D

Blake Mitchell
Dr. Mitchell currently lives with his wife and two children in Frisco, Texas. He began his local practice in June 2006 and currently has offices in North Dallas and Grapevine, Texas. In addition to private practice, he enjoys his position as an adjunct faculty member at Dallas Theological Seminary in the counseling department.
Prior to the move to Frisco in 2006, Dr. Mitchell was an active duty officer and a psychologist in the United States Navy from 2002 to 2006. While in the Navy, Dr. Mitchell served as a psychologist at The National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland for two years and then transferred to the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), an aircraft carrier stationed in Everett, Washington for the remainder of his service. He enjoyed a variety of experiences including training at a world-class hospital in NNMC and two deployments on board the USS Abraham Lincoln.
Bruce Mitchell - Foreign Relations Liaison

Bruce Mitchell
Bruce Mitchell is the Foreign Relations Liaison at Simple Surrogacy. Bruce is an experienced teacher and translator of French, Spanish, and German. He holds an MA in French and German (Tufts), as well as a BA in Spanish (UMASS-Amherst). He also has knowledge of Italian, Dutch, and Yiddish. Bruce enjoys using his language skills to help others create their own families through surrogacy.
Bruce is responsible for the written and verbal communication between Simple Surrogacy and our International Clients who are unable to speak fluent English. Bruce translates all required documentation and legal agreements into our client’s native languages. Simple Surrogacy’s International Clients can feel secure in knowing that they will have an interpreter/translator who will be there for them throughout their journey. Bruce is the proud father of two boys born through our program.
